This New Moon is at 23 degrees and 17 minutes of Leo. Though we cannot see the New Moon shining, we can still feel her power. We may find ourselves remembering what we have hidden from ourselves. This New Moon is asking you to set your intentions to remember your responsibility to be a leader and to take ownership of our own journey through life. This is a time to recommit to the values you held as a child. Who did you want to be when you grew up? What did you love to do? This New Moon energy is asking us to remember what we wished for ourselves. How we envisioned our life to be. If you could meet yourself as you were as a child how proud would they be of who you are now? If there is work to be done, now is the time to determine to do it. This Moon is demanding that we set out on new beginnings towards a future where we are proud of who we are and where we let our light shine.

Do you remember the last time you allowed yourself to play? To lose track of time through pure uninterrupted joyful expression? When was the last time you created art, simply for the pleasure of the process? We all become burdened with what we think is important in life. As adults, we often lose sight of the joy of creativity for the sake of expression. We become fixated on the end result. What is the point of painting, if we never sell a canvas? What purpose does play serve?

It is easy to forget that the trick to fulfilment and happiness is by being truly in the moment.
